Bill Torrey is in his fifth year as Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Portville Central School. Torrey graduated from PCS in 2000. His senior year he was named the Expressway Conference MVP, was appointed to the 2000 Big 30 All Star Team, and made Honorable Mention for All Western New York. He also played on the varsity team that went 42-4 from 1999-2000 seasons. He was an integral part of the 2000 Section VI C-2 Championship.
After his career ended at Portville, Coach Torrey went on to play at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford for four years. He graduated from the University of Pitt-Bradford in May 2005 with a dual degree in Applied Mathematics and Math Education.
Bill spent one year at Allegany-Limestone, where he was the JV coach for the Gators, before joining the Panther's staff.

Coach Torrey and his wife Crystal are the proud parents of a son, Parker Joseph.
